Overview
Full business plan submission
Participating teams are required to submit a formal, detailed plan for an innovative business idea that could lead to the creation of a successful business. This can be a new product or service that fulfils a market niche or an enhancement of an existing product or service that has the potential to create value, increase sales or reduce costs. It may be an entirely new idea or it could focus on a new way of doing things.
The deadline for submissions is 13 May 2012. The plan must be written in the prescribed format - maximum ten pages in English, excluding appendices such as charts, tables, diagrams and spreadsheets, before the stipulated deadline. The announcement of top five participants for final round will be announce in 20 May 2012.
The five teams selected for the Indonesia final after this round will be invited to attend a presentation final at Jakarta in 26 May 2012.
Indonesia Final
The 5 finalist teams will make a formal presentation to a panel of judges in 26 May 2012 to compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze winners.
Gold winner are entitled to receive cash prizes of IDR 25,000,000
Silver winner are entitled to receive cash prizes of IDR 15,000,000
Bronze winner are entitled to receive cash prizes of IDR 10,000,000
Regional Competition
The Gold winner team from Indonesia will compete with the Gold Award winning teams from local competitions held in other participating Asian countries and territories (Bangladesh, Brunei, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Thailand) for the Best of the Best, Diamond and Jade Awards in July 2012. Each team will present their business plan in English to a panel of judges.
